The key to the Morris Minor's success was its reliability and robustness, qualities made accessible to a large part of the population thanks to its low cost. The key to its success was its reliability and robustness, qualities that were made accessible to a large part of the population thanks to its low cost. Its success is also reflected in the long production period from 1948 to 1971, during which more than 1.5 million of these cars were assembled. Of the various cars produced, the most distinctive and attractive is the Minor 1000 Traveler, featuring the bodywork we now call a station wagon. The car on offer here was produced in 1966 and has the typical exposed wooden structure which, as well as being an aesthetic element, also has the function of reinforcing the structure of the car itself. Together with the commercial models of this British icon, the 1000 Traveler is the last Minor model left in production at Morris. In fact, production of the commercial and family models lasted until 1971, the year in which the Minor was replaced by the Morris Marina. The featured car is fully functional and in a good state of preservation, registered and ready for a test drive.
