Showcases typically start and end on weekdays, with regular listings live on the site for a timing scheduled with the Seller and indicated in the Particular Condition Terms of the auction.

Common Bidder Questions

How do I register to bid?

(i) To place your bid first of all you need to register to WONDIKE.com here (find out how in HOW TO REGISTER?) You will receive an email asking you to verify your email address and doing so is required in order to proceed. If you don’t see the email, make sure to check your spam or junk folder as these emails often are labeled incorrectly as spam. If you have already registered but your profile is incomplete, you will need to complete your registration in your private area.

Once you have registered, there are two mandatory things to do:

(ii) The download and careful reading of the “Particular Sale Terms” document, you may find in the “Condition Terms and Other Documents” section, inside the page of the auction you are interested in .

(iii) Make the deposit payment (if required) through Paypal or Bank Transfer . Alternatively, you can choose the Wondy method.

WHAT IS WONDY MODE?

By paying a fee in Wondy mode, you can place 3 bids in a single auction; once the number of bids available has been used up, it will be possible to buy more until the end of the auction. Participation in the auction using the Wondy method does not entitle you to a refund of the amount paid.

How does bidding work?

You simply type in the “Your offer” field the amount you would like to bid. If it’s higher than other bids, you become the highest bidder. Bidding advances immediately to your entered amount. The bid you place in the bid box will become the new high bid.

I want to bid on a listing. Where can I find all of the relevant details?

We encourage all potential bidders to read the listing details of the Lot. Questions can be asked via the Contact Form Section, and we recommend potential bidders to do so prior to placing a bid.

What happens if I win an auction and how does payment work?

The transaction for the winning bid amount is between the buyer and the seller. At the close of the auction , the winning bidder and seller will receive each other’s contact information via email. We recommend that the seller send the buyer a photocopy of the title and a bill of sale prior to the buyer sending payment, and we recommend a wire transfer.

Any changes with respect the above methods will be indicated in the Special Conditions of Sale

What happens if the reserve is not reached  on an auction?

If the reserve is not reached , we encourage the seller to work with the high bidder in hopes that they can reach a deal.

How does shipping work?

Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer to arrange and pay for. If requested, Wondike can provide support thanks to its network of suppliers

Why is there a deposit to pay?

WONDIKE.com requires the payment of a deposit to guarantee the truthfulness and seriousness of the offers presented and to prevent a user with fraudulent intentions from altering the course. The deposit will be returned to non-winners of the auction within 5 working days from the end of the auction experiment. The deposit will be returned to the winner in case the reserve price is not met or in case of full payment of the price in the event of a reserve price met.

What credit cards do you accept?

The payment of the deposit through credit card are processed by Paypal. The Credit Card they accept are American Express, Carta Aura, Discover, Maestro, Mastercard, and Visa.

May I bid if I'm not in EU?

Sure! As long as you have registered with a valid credit card, you can bid from anywhere.

Why does the clock keep resetting?

It’s common in online auctions for buyers to use special software to enter a bid in the very last seconds of the auction to outbid others without giving them a chance to respond. During the last 3 minutes of WONDIKE.com Auctions, the clock resets to 3 minutes after every bid. This happens until no more bids are placed and the auction ends. This feature gives everyone a chance to place their bids and gives sellers a chance to sell to the true high bidder.

May I cancel my bid?

We do not cancel bids on the website. Please be very careful when placing your bid.

How do I know if an auction has a reserve?

We announce when a good is being offered at No Reserve by putting that information in the “Particular Sale Terms” document.

May I buy a lot when the reserve price is not met?

For goods that do not meet reserve, the seller receives the high bidder’s contact info upon close of auction as they have won the opportunity to purchase the lot. From there, it is up the two of them to work out a deal. In cases where reserve is not met, we do not share other user contact info or broker deals after the close of auction.

Where can I find the Buy it Now Price?

All offerings through WONDIKE.com are for auction only. There are no Buy it Now prices and sellers cannot sell goods outside of a live auction. If you wish to purchase a lot make sure you’re the high bidder!

How can I inspect a Lot?

We encourage all potential bidders to inspect a good prior to placing a bid. If you would like to inspect a good or have it inspected, you may schedule the inspection with the Auction Manager by writing him/her an e-mail that you will find in the page of the auction.

"What happens if I am the successful bidder but have not reached the reserve price?"

If you receive an e-mail at the end of the auction stating that you were the successful bidder but did not reach the reserve price, it means that you were the user who made the highest bid but did not reach the price requested by the seller and therefore you are not the winner of the Lot. We will notify the seller of the highest bid received and he will decide, at his sole discretion, whether to accept the bid.

Why is the reserve price kept hidden?

Wondike keeps the reserve price hidden until it is reached in the Auction to freely receive feedback from the market without conditioning it.

May only companies or individuals sell on Wondike?

Both individuals and companies can sell
