The most powerful V8 in the history of Ferrari over 70 years, awarded for two consecutive years as "International Engine of the Year". The 488 Pista brings the highest level of technology transfer from the world of racing to the road, transferring the experience of Ferrari Challenge and GTE to a car approved for circulation. 720 horsepower delivered by a 90-degree V8 with two turbines, an impressive number, even in relation to the first Ferrari Turbo from 1972, which had 220 - 500 less horsepower! The increase of 50 horsepower from the 488 GTB engine brings the specific power to 185 hp / l, positioning the Pista engine as a reference point for all powertrains, in an absolute sense. Compared to the GTB, the weight drops by 90kg, thanks to the use of ultralight materials such as carbon fiber for the engine hood, bumper and rear spoiler, combined with Lexan for the rear window. Extensive aerodynamic research has contributed to improved performance, making the 488 Pista an exceptional performance car without compromise.

The proposed car stands out for its particular blue-white livery, dedicated to the glorious Ferrari 158 F1, with which John Surtees won the world championship in 1964 (competing in the last two Grand Prix with the colors of the NART team). The accessories and options it is equipped with are different, such as the racing seats in carbon, the 20 '' forged and dark painted rims, the navigation system and radio + bluetooth and the special color stitching - Medium Blue. The first registration was in May 2020 and a total of 3,500km have been covered to date. The car is covered by the Official Ferrari Warranty valid until May 2022 and, to protect the bodywork, a transparent film was applied to all surfaces (including the windshield). By purchasing this Ferrari, the most performing V8 produced in Maranello is put in the garage, and a car with a strong link with the world of racing.
