FIAT 501 B TORPEDO – 1925
The first car produced between 1919 and 1925 by Fiat in more than 70.000 pieces. Designed by Carlo Cavalli, the 501 was a reliable car mainly intended for the export from Italy. The body in Torpedo style has three doors and it is equipped with a capotte (with wooden structure) supported by ribs that allow the closure of the passenger compartment. With the B version, from 1924, the drum brakes have been adopted also on the front wheels.
