PORSCHE 911 930 TURBO

Porsche's first road-going model to use turbo technology, adopted directly from the world of racing, thanks to the study and development of motorsport legends such as the Porsche 917 and RSR. With the 930 Turbo, the first generation of what would become the Stuttgart-based company's flagship model was born. This 911 Turbo (mod. 930) was built in August 1979 in the Porsche AG factories, the model year being 1980 - used for all cars built between 01.08.1979 and 31.07.1980. It is presented in its complete originality, with the Porsche Classic technical certificate and several invoices of work always carried out at official Porsche workshops.  The matching engine number M930/60-6700064 is a 3.3-litre, an evolution of the first 3000cc flat-six used in the Turbos produced from 1975 to 1977. The gearbox is a four-speed and the power of this updated 3.3-litre version is 300 bhp. In 1977, Porsche designers modified the upper part of the rear wing to make room for the new air-to-air heat exchanger (intercooler), which in the proposed model has a wider grill to ensure greater ventilation. Compared to the first Turbo (produced until 1977), some improvements were made to the 3.3's braking (such as the hydraulic brake booster) and to make the thrust of the more powerful engine more manageable. The leather interior remained unchanged, except for the Turbo logo embossed on the carpet of the folding rear seat backs. This beautiful example in metallic dark green with dark green leather interior has various accessories such as sports front seats, air conditioning, an oversized battery and an electric sunroof.
