RENAULT 4 TL
- ASI registered
- original registration
- preserved in good conditions
- livery with the classic French flag typical of Renault in the rallies
- 4 cylinders in-line 956cc engine
Created to replace the Renault 2CV, the new design for the Renault 4 was presented in 1961, and then made its official debut at the Paris Motor Show held at Porte de Versailles. Produced and updated until 1992, it was the best-selling car in the European market during its 30 years of production. The car up for auction is a third series (TL Savane) with a 956cc in-line 4-cylinder engine (already used in some versions of the Renault 5 and Supercinque). The car is in a good state of preservation, with the paint showing some signs of time and the interior (like the door panels) rebuilt using the typical fabric of this French car of the late '80s. The chassis is matching number with the engine and the car has the original number plates, together with the first registration dated 1987. ASI registered.
