The original idea for the XJS project was to create a car that would replace the beautiful Jaguar E-type, which Ferrari called the most beautiful car ever made. In 1975 the first XJS with a 12-cylinder V-engine (like the E-Type) was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show. In total, more than 115,000 examples were produced in over 20 years of production until 1996 - numbers that testify to the good qualities and success of this model, despite the fact that many people regretted the E-Type. The car up for auction is a third series produced in 1992 and first registered in 1993. The car is an ASI registered third series produced in 1992 and registered for the first time in 1993. Since then, thanks to the chronological record of the current owner, there have been 5 changes of hands.
