In 1967 an updated version of the Giulia Sprint GT Veloce was presented, named 1750 GT Veloce (without the Giulia name) with the engine increased to a displacement of 1779cc. Two years later, in 1969, a few changes were made and the second series of the 1750 GT Veloce made its debut. The new engine (internal code AR0058) was more powerful and, thanks also to the two carburettors that ensured even better performance, this version reached a top speed of 190km/h. The car on auction was produced in 1971 and has been completely restored (photographic documentation of the various steps of the work is available). The long restoration took the bodywork to iron - to be repainted in its original Rosso 501 colour -, the engine disassembled and rebuilt with new internal components and the interior reupholstered in black. It was certified at the Fiat register as an original and matching number car with homologation number 470/20. Since the restoration was completed, the car has covered only 270 kilometres.
