Krzysztof Konopka is a forerunner of the new current in abstract art called Orapismo, which means "traccio gold" (from the Portuguese language). The work "Dancers" originated in Spain, where the artist observed a group of dancing women on the beach. Their moving bodies, highlighted by the backlighting effect accentuated by the blue background of the sea and the colours of the sunset, formed graceful sculptural compositions.
In this work we can recognise the immediacy of the lines, spontaneity of the metrics spatulated by intense colours that convey the sincerity and energy of the pictorial gesture, transporting us into the world of the unconscious. The scratches created on the colour allow the canvas to obtain its characteristic chromatic vibration
