So much loved by collectors and classic car enthusiasts, the TR3A belongs to the category of front-engined, rear-wheel-drive British roadsters - the typical British open-top car, exciting to drive and elegant to the eye. A big sister to the TR2 (from which it takes its chassis), the TR3A's 1991cc in-line 4-cylinder engine produces 100 horsepower and allows this spider to reach speeds of up to 177km/h. The driving emotions and the charm of its design were dear to the public: in 1960 Fellini let Marcello Mastroianni drive it during the shooting of La Dolce Vita, a film that made the Italian lifestyle of the '60s known all over the world. The light blue TR3A we offer was produced in 1961, the same year as the TR4 - which replaced it the following year. Compared to the TR3 model produced at the beginning of the series, the TR3A has some small aesthetic changes, such as the enlarged grille and the door handles, which appear on the outside of the bodywork. Following a complete restoration, this TR3A, is in a splendid state, with a flawless bodywork and a very well finished interior. The car is not registered.
