The open-top Alfa Romeo icon, produced for 28 years in four different series: the Duetto Spider is one of the Biscione marque's longest-lived and best-loved models. The car on offer here is a second-series (truncated tail) 1973 Spider 1300 Junior - only 1,876 of these second-generation examples, whose tails were 'truncated' to follow the new stylistic canons of the time, were produced. The car is a matching number and has been completely restored, taking the bodywork to sheet metal and repainting it in its original white colour. The leather upholstery on the seats has also been redone, keeping the original factory black colour. The classic Alfa 4-cylinder in-line engine has a displacement of 1.3 litres, reduced compared to the 1570cc of the first "Osso di Seppia" series, also in function of the regulations of the period, dictated by the oil crisis. This Duetto Spider 1300 Junior is an excellent opportunity to buy an Italian legend known throughout the world.
Only 1876 exemplars of this vehicle have been constructed.
