The artist, Kinga Lapot Dzierwa, does not use large formats and prefers to work in series, often developing triptychs. Techniques such as oil on canvas, collage and watercolor are her favorite mediums, with which she seeks the beauty of nature by capturing it in the places where the memories and feelings of her childhood wander.

The red color carried on canvas with textural and brilliant brushstrokes on canvas, contrasts with the fragility of the female body, at the same time gives her dancers the power to be loved.

For this very series, the artist won the First Tamara Art Award during the Florence Biennale in 2021.
