Info: The unique Tesi project was born in 1983 by two students of the Engineering Faculty of Bologna. Born as a thesis work, from which it takes its name, it was presented to the public at the Milan Exhibition of the same year. This Bimota Tesi 1D SR represents the first of the 20 specimens produced, equipped with Ducati engine mounted on the billet aluminum frame. The common feature of the Bimota Tesi is the mechanically controlled steering connected through suitable referrals to the steering hub of the front wheel to separate the steering function from that of the suspension and reduce the "sinking" effect of the classic fork when braking for better stability and road holding. This specimen is on sale with 2700 Km only and original documentation.
